Whether you're a seasoned veteran or a first-time camper, good camping practices and consideration for your fellow campers will make your stay more enjoyable. Please read the following rules and regulations so you'll know what to expect, and so will your neighbors.

Guest Code of Conduct

We are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable environment so we are presenting a Code of Conduct designed to enhance the experience of all our guests.

Guests are responsible for their conduct and are prohibited from exhibiting behavior that is unruly, disruptive, irresponsible, or illegal in nature, which is a distraction to the enjoyment of other guests such as:

Using foul or abusive language or making obscene gestures.

Interfering with the enjoyment of others, an event or activity.

Engaging in public drunkenness.

Verbally or physically harassing any of our guests or Campground staff.

Engaging in any solicitation.

Failing to follow campground guidelines or directives including but not limited to adherence to quiet hours.

Based on the discretion of Management, Guests who violate these provisions may be evicted from the campground without a refund and may be issued a letter of disinvite, prohibiting future visits to the campground. We thank you for adhering to our Code of Conduct, we hope this directive will enhance the camping experience for all guests.

If you or a member of your camping party is affected by another guest due to a violation of the Code of Conduct, please contact our store at 507-263-3145.

If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements.


Campsite Reservations

Reservations are suggested and can be made in person, by phone, or online. Payment is due in full at the time of booking to secure the reservation. Payments can be made by cash, Cannon Falls Campground Gift Cards, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover. Please note, a two-night minimum stay is required for non-holiday weekends and a three-night minimum stay is required on holiday weekends.

To rent a campsite you must be 21 or older.

Our base rates are designed for one camping unit (RV or Tent) and up to two adults and two children per site. Additional guests per reservation will be charged $6 per adult and $3 per child per night. Children 3 and younger are free. The maximum occupancy per reservation is nine people. A wristband will be required to be worn for each guest registered on the reservation for the duration of your stay. Other guests coming into the campground not listed on the reservation will be charged a visitor fee.

Each reservation includes up to two car passes. Additional car pass fee of $2 per day. Vehicles are required to have a parking pass visible at all times. Vehicles not displaying a valid parking pass are subject to trespassing and will be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense without notice.

For an additional fee of $25 per night, a four-person sleeping tent or smaller may be used as a second camping unit per site. The second camping unit fee does not include additional guests not registered on the reservation. If a second camping unit (tent) is found on a site without being on the reservation, the site the tent is found on will be charged a tent fee of $50 per night without notice.

Specific site choices are not always guaranteed and requested sites are subject to change.



Cancellation Policy

Though we certainly hope you don’t, if you find you must cancel your reservation, simply give us the appropriate notice prior to your scheduled arrival date and we will return or transfer your deposit less any processing fees. If you’d like to reschedule your dates, it will be considered a new booking and subject to our cancellation terms. A $25 processing fee will be charged for EACH canceled reservation. Proper cancellation notices (see time frames below) is required to avoid additional charges.

If cancellation requests are received more than 7 days prior to your arrival, you may receive a full refund minus a $25 processing fee per site reservation.

If cancellation requests are received less than 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, you may receive a refund of 50% of your reservation or you can transfer the reservation to another date within the same camping year with an additional $25 rebooking fee per site reserved at the time of cancellation.

If cancellation requests are received less than 48 hours of the 1:00 p.m. check in time of your arrival date, and/or you fail to show, no refund will be given.

Sadly, even in cases of an emergency, inclement weather, or any other situations affecting your reservation, we cannot refund or transfer deposits when a cancellation occurs without proper notice. Additionally, guests who shorten their stay are liable for charges on cancelled nights.


Visitors

ALL VISITORS must STOP, enter the office to register, and pay a visitor fee upon arrival. Visitor fees allow entry onto Cannon Falls Campground Property and for the use of the facilities. A wristband will be required to be worn by each visitor for the duration of their visit. A parking pass will be issued and must be displayed on the vehicle’s rearview mirror at all times. Any vehicle not displaying the parking pass will be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense without notice.

Day visiting hours are 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (No unregistered visitor entrance after 9:00 p.m.)

Day visitor fee - $5 per person per day. (Day visitor’s wristbands are valid until 10:00 p.m.)

Overnight visitor fee - $10 per person per night. (Overnight visitor’s wristbands are valid until 11:00 a.m. the following day)

Any visitor age 3 or younger is free and no wristband is required.

Registered campers are responsible to see that their visitors are registered and that they comply with all campground rules. The registered camper of the campsite where the unregistered visitor is found will be subject to pay a visitor violation fee of $25 per visitor in violation and may be asked to leave the property.


Quiet Time

Quiet time is strictly enforced from 11:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m.

Loud music is not allowed at any time. Please enjoy your music and allow your neighbors to enjoy their own as well. If you are asked by campground staff to turn down the volume of your music, you must comply immediately.

Minors must be at their campsite or under adult supervision by 10:00 p.m.


Pets

To ensure the safety and satisfaction of our guests, please respect the following rules if you bring your pet:

Pet must be kept on a leash and quiet at all times. Please do not let your dog(s) dig holes.

No unattended pets can be kept outside of the camping unit.

Pet owners must clean up after their pets immediately. Dispose of your pet’s waste in a garbage/dumpster; do not put it in a fire pit or portable toilet (a $50 clean up fee will be charged if not followed)

Pets are not allowed in the pool area or any campground buildings.


Firewood

To help prevent the spread of gypsy moth, emerald ash borer and oak wilt, NO firewood is allowed from outside of the campground unless it is purchased from a licensed firewood dealer. Please help us protect our trees and protect the beauty of the campground.

Any firewood brought in that is not from a licensed firewood dealer will be removed from possession..

Firewood is available for purchase at the campground.

Goodhue County prohibits firewood from leaving Goodhue County due to local tree infestations. Please comply with County regulations.

Campfires may be built only within the Campground's metal fire rings and must be put out before retiring or breaking camp.


Pool Rules

The pool is NOT SUPERVISED BY A CERTIFIED LIFEGUARD.

Minor children must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult at all times in the pool area. You are responsible for the behavior and safety of your children in the pool area.

Obey all posted rules.

No food, smoking, vaping or alcoholic beverages are permitted inside the pool area.

Call 911 for medical emergency help.

Untrained persons will be required to wear swim diapers while in the pool. Swim diapers are available at the store for purchase.

We reserve the right to refuse pool use to anyone.

Pool may be closed on occasion due to weather or health and sanitation reasons.


Discounts

Discounts and coupons must be mentioned or applied at time of reservation. They cannot be applied after the reservation has been made. Discounts or other promotional offers cannot be combined and are not valid during holiday weekends.


More Info

No bike riding on sidewalks and/or parking bikes on sidewalks. No bikes may be ridden after dark in any part of the campground.

Gray water may not be drained on the ground.

All campground buildings are smoke free.

Alcoholic beverages may be responsibly consumed by adults 21 and older. Any minors caught drinking are subject to immediate eviction.

It is always a good idea to secure any valuable items, such as bicycles or coolers, when site is unattended or before retiring for the evening.

50 AMP sites are equipped with dual plugs 50/30 AMP.

Unless required for a medical condition or accessibility, golf carts, motorized scooters, hoverboards, moped, or dirt bikes are not permitted in the park.

We may occasionally experience outages including water, electric, wireless internet and any other utilities that might apply, which is beyond our control. No refunds or compensations will be given for any outages.

Firearms or fireworks are prohibited on the premises.

Cutting trees and shrubs or bringing logs in from the woods is prohibited.

All motorized vehicles on campground property must be insured.

We are unable to permit vehicle washing on site.

DO NOT flush tampons, feminine napkins, baby wipes and such items. Wipes that say they are flushable cause sewer backups.



Disclaimer

This PROPERTY IS PRIVATELY OWNED AND THE MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE to anyone for any reason except for those prohibited by law. Cannon Falls Campground reserves the right to ask any person or party it deems necessary, to leave the campground based on violations of Park Rules or behavior management deems inappropriate or disturbing to others. Guests are responsible for their own safety; please abide by all rules and regulations and observe posted speed limit. I understand that, although Cannon Falls Campground makes every reasonable effort to provide a secure environment, the security of my person, my belongings, and all persons registered in my party is my sole responsibility, and I agree to hold Cannon Falls Campground harmless in any and all claims arising from any incidents that may occur during my stay. I have read this notice and agree to it as well as all Cannon Falls Campground rules and regulations. In addition, I understand that I am responsible for the actions of all persons registered in my party, including any children, and any guests that visit during my stay. PETS: I (we) agree to hold Cannon Falls Campground, their members, directors, officers, agents, volunteers, and employees harmless from any claim for loss or injury that may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the actions of other persons, owners, guardians and/or their dog(s) while in or upon the grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim or loss of our dog(s) by disappearance, theft, death or otherwise from any claim for damage or injury to our dog(s), whether such loss, disappearance, theft, damage or injury, be caused or alleged to be caused by the negligence of Cannon Falls Campground, or any of the parties aforementioned, or by the negligence of any other person, or any other cause or causes.
